Fatal Road Incident Near Forfar Golf Club
An 89-year-old man has tragically died following a road traffic collision on the A932 near Forfar Golf Club.
The incident, which involved a blue Audi Q3, occurred at approximately 21:30 on Wednesday evening. The man, who was the driver of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
Authorities closed the road for nearly nine hours to allow officers to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant John McDiarmid stated, “Inquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, and has not yet spoken to officers, to contact us. We’d also ask anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to assist with our investigation.”
