The King and Queen in the Big Apple: What the Royals Did on Their Third Day in the US

The King and Queen concluded the final full day of their state visit to the United States in New York City.
They began the day by paying their respects at the 9/11 memorial downtown. Later in the afternoon, their schedules diverged: Queen Camilla promoted child literacy by reading ‘Winnie the Pooh’ to children at the New York Public Library, while King Charles visited a community organization in Harlem and fed chickens.
The royal couple concluded their state visit by celebrating 50 years of the King’s Trust charity at the Rockefeller Center, an event where global ambassador Lionel Richie delivered a speech.
