Four Palestine Action Activists Found Guilty of Criminal Damage
A jury at Woolwich Crown Court has unanimously found four activists from the Palestine Action group guilty of criminal damage. The charges stem from an incident at a UK site operated by an Israel-based defence firm.
The individuals convicted are Charlotte Head, 30, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30, and Fatema Rajwani, 21. After 14 hours of deliberation, Zoe Rogers, 22, and Jordan Devlin, 31, were acquitted of the same charge.
In addition to criminal damage, Samuel Corner was also found guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, following an incident where he struck Sgt Kate Evans with a sledgehammer.
This verdict concludes the court proceedings related to the activists’ actions at the defence firm’s facility.
