New CCTV footage has been released, capturing the moment gunshots were fired during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Jeanine Pirro, the US Attorney for DC, stated that the footage was made public to demonstrate that “there is no evidence the shooting was the result of friendly fire.”

Earlier on Thursday, while addressing reporters, President Donald Trump commented on the incident, asserting that “it wasn’t friendly fire,” and further adding, “it wasn’t us.”
