Further details about the contestants, including their strengths, weaknesses, and team dynamics, will be revealed soon.<\/p>\n<h3>The Race Across the World 2026 Route<\/h3>\n<p>This season&#8217;s route is set to be the most extreme to date, carving through eight distinctive countries: <b>Italy, Greece, T\u00fcrkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan<\/b>, and <b>Mongolia<\/b>. Each country promises its own unique language, culture, and climate, with conditions swinging from 30-degree Mediterranean heat to subarctic temperatures of \u201320\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Teams will race from <b>Palermo<\/b> on the island of Sicily all the way to the remote village of <b>Hatgal<\/b> on the shores of Lake H\u00f6vsg\u00f6l in northern Mongolia. Retracing parts of the ancient Silk Road, they will follow in the footsteps of traders who once connected the East and West across these vast, unforgiving landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>Contestants must navigate their way from the bustling streets of Italy, one of the world\u2019s most visited destinations, to one of its most remote, the windswept Mongolian steppe. With smartphones, internet access, and bank cards left behind, they are armed with nothing but the cash equivalent of flying the route, operating on a budget of less than <b>\u00a326 per person per day<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3>Race Across the World: The Detour<\/h3>\n<p>Broadcaster, DJ, and Celebrity Race Across the World contestant <b>Tyler West<\/b> hosts the new video podcast, <b>Race Across the World: The Detour<\/b>.
