The Trump administration has released renderings for a proposed gold-accented giant victory arch, which some have nicknamed the “Arc de Trump.” This monumental structure is envisioned to stand approximately 250 feet (76.2 meters) tall, symbolizing one foot for each year since the United States declared its independence. At this height, it would be more than twice as tall as the Lincoln Memorial, located directly across a significant bridge from the arch’s suggested site. If built, it would claim the title of the tallest triumphal arch globally. BBC’s Ione Wells has provided insights into the controversial aspects of this plan. The video was produced by Meiying Wu.
